Comments from Competitors
"Despite the drizzle, a good morning for running. Cool, with very little breeze and the knowledge that hot showers and a friendly bar was waiting."
..."Despite the horrible weather, she really enjoyed the run and asked me to pass on her thanks to ALL the marshals whom she said were brilliant. They were all enthusiastic, helpful, encouraging and interested and this is especially good given the dreadful weather they had to stand out in."
...Hi, just a little email to compliment you all on a great race.
I have been running (or plodding, depending on your what you class as running) for
about three years now but have never actually 'done' this race before.
I have to say I really enjoyed it, the route was pleasant,
the marshals were without doubt the friendliest bunch of marshals I have ever encountered in a race
(and that's going some because as fellow runners I'm sure you'll agree that most marshals
are usually pretty good blokes/lady blokes ) and the bag at the end was fab,
how did you know I wanted red wine ? Have you got mind readers at your club ? ...
Even the weather was actually quite good for me as I don't like it hot when I'm running
so I was rather glad your order for a sunny day didn't arrive in time for Sunday.
So well done and thank you for a great race and a lovely if a little bit soggy morning.
P.S We will be back
"See you next year!"
