Derby Runner Cross Country League (formerly the Today's Runner Cross Country League)
Great Sunday morning, real cross country (i.e. not usually just flattish park land).
Great low-key races with a good friendly club atmosphere - which can often be sampled in the pub afterwards!
Great chance to win prizes as there are 6 prizes in each category which include all vets categories.
Distances: Junior U/11; 1 mile, Junior O/11, 2 miles, Senior; 8-11K
Entry fees: Junior; 50p, Senior £1.50 (£1 to the league, 50p to the host club)
Club kit: Club vests or T shirt must be worn for all races (you are allowed to wash the kit between races!)
Second Claim: A second claim runner may only score for their team, if the club does not have enough first claim runners to count.
Teams: 8 men, 4 ladies to count.
Footwear: Studded fell shoes or cross country spikes. Trail shoes/studded road shoes may fine depending upon conditions and the course
Prizes: Runners must complete 4 out of 5 races to be eligible for prizes.

Notices To Organisers and Runners
- Runners PLEASE return your finishing disks. It causes a lot of problems to replace them.
- Runners must run in club kit.
- Host clubs are to make sure that all Marshall's know the mobile phone number of the first aid coordinator.
- Host clubs are to make sure that the children's race has hares and or marshals.
